From the Garden

It was fun watching these bees wriggle into the small flowers in the garden this week.

We have had a lizard living under our house for a while. Sometimes I give him a fright and sometimes he gives my a fright.

There have been a lot of Rosellas in the garden eating the seeds on the trees.

Dreamy Flying Machines

I was so thrilled to win the Flying Machines contest at Spoonflower last week. Thank you to everyone that voted and added favourites and nice comments.

Here is a look at the top ten available in the fat quarter bundle. Such pretty designs!

Fabulous Finds

Just a few finds over the past weeks.

From the Fullarton Market to add to my chicken collection.

A lovely plate from the Nairne Market op shop.

Also from Nairne a set of two cups with saucers and plates.

My mum brought this back from a trip to the South East.

My favourite find from Nairne.

Southwest Contest

I was so happy to get into the top ten for the Southwest contest last week at Spoonflower. Thank you so much to everyone that voted and added my design as a favourite.

It was such a fun theme that I decided to put together a collection of designs to compliment my entry, Southwest Country.

Minky Cut and Sew Patterns

A few months ago I designed loads of cut and sew patterns to try on the new minky fabric available at Spoonflower. It is so soft and easy to sew on the machine with a normal needle, here is a look at what I have sewn up so far.

Bobby and Betsy Bunny are now available in my Spoonflower shop. Each fits on a fat quarter and if you purchase the minky (which is a wider fabric) you get the dress for Betsy or pants for Bobby included in the panel.

This set of three retro bunnies also fit on one fat quarter of minky. These will be available as soon as I write up the sewing instructions.

The retro style bunny is based on this toy I had as a baby.

Also stitched up these two koalas made from the minky, there is also a third koala available on the fat quarter of minky. They are also for sale in my Spoonflower shop.

Hide and Seek Beagle

A big thank you to everyone that voted for my beagle design a few weeks ago, I was delighted to be in the top ten. I had intended to design a more stylised looking beagle but could not get past that distinctive colouring and big floppy ears.

Here is a look at the designs in the top ten. Thanks to Spoonflower for taking the great photos.
